    • Remove cafeteria equipment and remove it from inventory. – Unanimously Approved
    • March 27th will be the first Track Meet at Jacksonville Highschool
    • Shared that Worlds of Work was going on with 8th graders and juniors.
    • Asked IT department to share calendar information with all Board Members. He also recognized Councilmember Sherry Laster for being present at the meeting.
  • Superintendent Search Business
    • Motion to enter into immediate contract negations with Dr. Barber (currently interim Superintendent). – Unanimously Approved
  • Confirm Date of Next Board Meeting
    • April 17th, 2024
  • Board Member Comments
    • STEM Night at Kitty Stone was very impressive.
    • The Alabama Cyber Technology Institute in Huntsville was very impressive and Board Member Watson encouraged all to visit if possible.
    • She also mentioned AI being using in the classroom and possible developing an AI policy and also developing technology drills.
