        • Mr. Haynes thanked all the teachers that worked with him the education he received in Calhoun County Schools.

      • Dr. Jeremy Stovall – Associate Professor of Music, JSU (SHS Graduate)
        • Dr. Stovall, joined by his daughter Audrey, recognized the wonderful band directors he had in the Calhoun County Schools. He credited them for inspiring him.

    • Presentation – Todd Smith, Schneider Electric
      • Mr. Smith spoke about the capital recovery and reinvestment program for Calhoun County Schools. He went through specific cost expenditures and how they could reduce expenses. He also discuses finical services that are available such as grant writing. The services can be customized for each school system needs. Proposed moving into a designing agreement. Takes about 6 months to create a program once an agreement is reached.
    • Discussion
      • The Career Fair was a great success. The technical and trades program is developing and kids are being employed. Commended Commissioner Patterson for funds provided for multiple projects including bathroom renovations.
