With at least one third percent of United States population serving as caregivers, many are facing challenges and changes in the season of Christmas. Additionally, each year, we see a lot of people who put off talking about Hospice until after the Christmas season. The advantages of Hospice surpass any dread of the name. You can offer your loved ones and patients support during the holidays and have peace of mind through Hospice.
The hospice’s interprofessional staff support patients and their families and assists them in making their most out of holidays by reducing anxiety and stress. In addition to the Hospice I collaborate with, the majority of hospices accept patients all hours of the day even during the Christmas season.
Hospice offers a warm admissions team who will explain our services. Additionally, we offer 24-hour RN emergency coverage to cut down on hospitalizations and emergency room visits. The hospice benefit typically provides 100% for medications for pain management and control. The benefit of hospice will also pay 100% for diapers and gloves, wipes hospital beds, oxygen walkers, bedside toilets, shower chairs, catheters such as colostomy and colostomy products, over-the-bed tables wheelchairs, wound care supplies, wheelchairs and so on.
Keep in mind that whatever happens will take place regardless of whether Hospice is involved. Hospice is not able to determine the date or time that we’ll leave this earth and say our final earthly goodbyes. The information is the responsibility of our Heavenly Father. Heaven.
If you’d like more details about the guidelines, services, and benefits, you can contact the Hospice you prefer or contact me directly by dialing 334-892-4123.
