Andalusia made the trip to Jackson to play a top-three match for the final round in state tournaments, which took place Friday night, but fell just short, 31-7 for the season’s final game.

The third-ranked Bulldogs ended the season with 10-2 The second-ranked Aggies increased their record to 11-0.

Jack Lathrop was 9-for-22 passing with 78 yards. J’Marion Burnette closed out his career at AHS with 18 rushing attempts for 100 yards, and the only Andalusia touchdown. He also caught one ball with nine yards. Zerrick Jones had 15 carries for 44 yards. Jordyn Skanes racked up three carries, totaling 11 yards.

Cadariyus Love was the leading receiver in the department with five receptions totalling 28 yards. He was closely followed by Parker Adams with two catches with 26 yards. Jordan Stallworth added a reception with 15 yards.

The Bulldogs ended their game 233 yards of total offense.
