The Calhoun County Golf Tour expanded for 2024.

Organizers have finalized the 2024 schedule, which features 10 events. Added to the list is the Dub Ellis Invitational, at Cherokee Pines.

The County Two Man, a non-points event, kicks off the schedule April 6-7 at Silver Lakes. The Anniston City Championship, set for April 27-28 at Cane Creek, is the first of nine stroke-play events that count in the Tour points standings, culminating in the Calhoun County Championship Aug, 17-18 at Anniston Municipal Golf Course.

The County Match Play is Sept. 28-29 at Anniston Municipal.

The schedule traditionally has events every other weekend, starting with the first points event, but features three events back-to-back-to-back in 2024: the Etowah County Open (June 20-21), Pine Hill Country Club Invitational (July 27-28) and Dub Ellis Invitational (Aug. 3-4).

“The schedule was tough this year,” Tour president Jeremy McGatha said. “Got three in a row at one point, and we try not to do that. It just had to be done this year.”
