Incident 1 (1/23/24): On the morning of January 23, 2024, a Yamaha motorcycle was reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Cross Creek Trail in Alexandria. Following an investigation, law enforcement identified a potential location in Talladega County. On January 25, authorities executed a operation at the identified address, leading to the arrest of Patrick Carlisle. He attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended. The stolen motorcycle was recovered from the property, and Carlisle now faces charges for Theft of Property 1st degree.
Incident 1: Circle K Convenience Store Damage In the early morning hours of Sunday, February 4th, a white GMC Sierra truck crashed into the front glass of the Circle K convenience store at 7640 US Hwy 431 in Alexandria. The impact caused damage to the glass pane, and the driver fled the scene before deputies arrived. The Sheriff’s Office is diligently pursuing leads to identify and hold the driver accountable for the incident.
Incident 2: Theft of U-Haul Tow Dolly Sometime in December, an incident involving the theft of a grey U-Haul tow dolly valued at $6,500 occurred at 30 AL Hwy 204. It is suspected that the perpetrator, driving a black pickup with no tags, was involved in the crime. An investigation is currently underway to resolve this case and apprehend the responsible party.
Catch of the Week Recap: Apprehension of Brandon Ace Long In a recent success story, warrant investigators responded to a tip regarding Brandon Ace Long in the 900 block of W. 49th St. in Saks on February 1st. Long, who had seven active warrants through the Sheriff’s Office for probation revocation on charges including felony theft, violation of a protection order, and possession of drug paraphernalia, attempted to flee upon spotting deputies. However, with swift action, deputies were able to apprehend Long and bring him into custody.
