Jacksonville, AL – In honor of Women’s History Month, Jacksonville State University’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion is set to host a special event on March 27, 2024. From 12 PM to 1 PM, students, faculty, and community members are invited to join in a march and join in an award ceremony commemorating the contributions and achievements of women throughout history.
The event will kick off with a march, starting in front of the TMB Lawn and concluding at McClure Chapel. Participants will come together to honor the impact of women across various fields and disciplines, reflecting on their accomplishments and advocating for gender equality and inclusivity.
Following the march, an award ceremony will take place at McClure Chapel, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing women’s rights and empowerment.
