Flag Placement Ceremony at the Oxford Memorial Gardens Cemetery

Oxford, AL – On Saturday, May 20th a t10:30 am join the American Legion Post 111 Oxford Alabama for a Flag Placement Ceremony at the Oxford Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The American Legion Post 111 will be sponsoring the 1st annual Flag Placement Ceremony honoring all the past Veterans by placing Flags at their gravesites. The public is invited to assist in the placement of the flags. The Oxford High School Band Brass Ensemble will play the National Anthem as well as echoing Taps for this ceremony. This is a precursor to the Memorial Day Services that will follow as memorialized across America.
