Over the past three months, they’ve been hard at work, crafting grant and appropriation fund applications totaling over $1.3 million for departments such as PARD, fire, police, the Senior Center, the Eastwood community project, and the city itself. In addition to these applications, her research has uncovered 10 additional grants for departments like wastewater treatment, police, fire, heart, Eastwood community project, and the city, amounting to over $1.2 million. She expressed a heartfelt pleasure in contributing to the city’s well-being and extended her willingness to serve the city in any capacity possible. As for when all this potential funding will materialize, they anticipate responses within the typical 30 to 45-day window post-application submission. She ensured that the relevant department heads are informed of any updates, whether they be acceptance or rejection notifications. While her efforts have been primarily driven by educational requirements, she expressed genuine gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the city’s prosperity.
